This lovely beach home is strategically positioned in an ideal location with deep water canal frontage on the rear (launch ramp and dock area) and fabulous ocean views from the front just across the street. There is a beach access just across the street from Bay Court which is a very short walk which makes this property ideal and very convenient. From almost every window in the house, there is a fabulous view of the water- deep water canal, Intracoastal Waterway or the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. If you are coming on vacation for the views, this home will certainly fill that need and much more.
As you enter the home on the mid-level entry you will notice the stairway will also descend down to the bottom (ground level) level of the home. Here, you will find a great place for the kids to hang out. This room is set up as additional sleeping quarters for kids and is equipped with a double futon. You will also find hanging chairs that swing from the ceiling, flatscreen TV, board games and books, a small dinette table with 4 stools, bean bags, a full-size refrigerator, microwave and extra counter space. This room also provides access out to the rear yard (canal front) where you will find a wood fire pit, grilling area (with charcoal Park Grill), benches for seating, outdoor shower, and boat launch ramp and dock area. Adjacent to this room on the ground level is a small garage that you can store your jet ski or kayaks when they are out of the water.
As you move up to the next living level you will find 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The master bedroom is located on this level and is equipped with a king bed, full private bath with walk-in shower and a double vanity sink. You will also find a seating area in this large room with a sofa and end table, a very large walk-in closet, a ceiling fan and flatscreen TV. This room also provides direct access out to a private covered porch on the rear Intracoastal side of the room and also access out to a large oceanside deck. Both of these outdoor spaces are equipped with comfortable seating for relaxing and enjoying the mesmerizing views this house has to offer.
Just down the hallway you will find bedroom 2 which is equipped with a queen bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV, dresser and various end tables and lamps. This room also provides direct access out to a private deck that looks out to the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway and the canal area.
Just across the hallway you will find bedroom 3 which is equipped with a bunk bed with roll out trundle (3 twins), and dresser. This room is set up to sleep 3 and has direct access out to the oceanside deck where you will find comfortable seating for enjoying those great ocean views.
On this same level you will find a full bath (bath 2) with tub and shower combination that will service bedroom 2 and 3 on this level.
As you move up to the top level you will first enter into the living room. This room is equipped with two large queen sleeper sofas, a long 8’ bench with pillows, comfortable chairs, large flat screen TV, ceiling fan, various lamps and end tables and a coffee table. Be prepared, when you open the curtains here, you will be blown away with the outstanding water views highlighting the Intracoastal Waterway where you will see beautiful and elaborate boats traveling north and south along this massive water corridor. Also, right at your back door is the main channel of the canal that leads directly out to the ICW which provides boat access out to the ocean and beyond. You can launch your boat from this location and tie your boat to the dock for easy boarding throughout the week, (on-site boat lift is not available).
Adjacent to the living room is the 4th sleeping quarters which is equipped with a queen Murphy Bed, ceiling fan, seating area with two chairs and table, clothes rack, night stand and lamps. This room has a wall of windows that highlight the canal and Intracoastal Waterway to the rear of the house. This room has possibly the best view of anywhere in the house and also has access out to a small balcony on the canal side.
Adjacent to the living room on the oceanside of the home you will find the 5th sleeping quarters which is equipped with a bunk bed and roll out trundle (3 twins) which will sleep 3 comfortably. This is another great spot for the kids to hang out and this room also provides direct access out to the oceanside balcony where you will again be able to enjoy those great ocean views.
Adjacent to the two top floor sleeping areas and the living room there is a full bath with a walk-in shower. This room also doubles as the laundry room where you will find a full-size washer and dryer.
On this top level you will also find a very large kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations as well as all required major and small appliances. The major appliances include 2 large full-size refrigerators (one with a water & ice dispenser thru door), range/oven combination, dishwasher and a built-in microwave. The small countertop appliances include two coffee pots (1 is a Keurig), toaster, griddle and blender. This kitchen offers abundant counter space and lots of cabinets for storage of your weekly groceries and supplies. It has a corner sink facing double windows that highlight the ocean views, while preparing your family meals. The kitchen offers direct access out to a large oceanside deck which is equipped with a picnic table and other tables and chairs designed to offer you comfort and pleasure while enjoying that morning cup of coffee when watching the sunrise as it ascends over the horizon.
The dining area which is adjacent to the kitchen is large enough to allow the whole family to be seated all at one time, and together, in close proximity. The dining table itself seats 8, and directly adjacent is a bistro table with 4 comfortable chairs (seats 4). Directly behind the dining table is an extra-large bar area with 8 bar stools. This is enough room to allow the full 18 guests to all be together in the same room while sharing this special time together. If someone prefers to have their meals outside, there is a 4-chair bistro table and a picnic table on the oceanside deck area just off the kitchen. Another great feature of this dining and kitchen area is a large flatscreen TV that is mounted to the wall with full view from both the kitchen and dining area.
As you can easily see, this home is loaded with amenities and provides for maximum pleasure and enjoyment. Check-in will be in person at the Coastline Realty rental office which is located at 965 Old Folkstone Rd. Suite 108 Sneads Ferry, NC 28460. ID’s will be required at check-in and must match the name on the reservation contract. At check-in, guest will be given a Check-In Packet that will include: WiFi information, keys or key code whichever applies, parking passes, pool passes (if required), any additional house rules if applicable, directions to property, emergency contact information, things to do info sheet, and check-out procedures. Please do not go directly to the property before check-in as it will only delay the process for you. If housekeepers or inspectors see cars in the driveway, they will move on to the next house and you may miss your early rotation with cleaning/inspecting.
For late arrival check-in you will need to call the office before noon on your check-in day to receive after hours check-in instructions. Please be prepared to forward a digital copy of your photo id (name matching the reservation) to the office.
